Bullsharks win fourth straight defeating Tri-Cities 14-8

•December 10, 2009 • Leave a Comment

The Tri-Cities Mountaineers are watching the season slip through their fingers very fast, losing their third straight contest and the Shore Conference lead in a loss to the red hot Virginia Beach Bullsharks by a score of 14-8.  The victory was the B-Sharks’ fourth in a row, a winning streak, in and of itself, that almost matches the club’s entire win total from a year ago.  Alex Gordon led the Bullsharks with 7 points.   John Carlson had 4 points for the Mountaineers in the loss, and Tri-Cities goaltender, Leland Irving had a miserable performance between the pipes.
