Virginia Beach Can’t Catch a Break; 30 Points Not Enough to Beat ‘Throats

The Virginia Beach Bullsharks had four players with 6 points or more and still could not manage to break the win-column in the 2009-10 season, as they fall to Colorado, 34-30.  Despite losing, it does seem that Virginia Beach GM Jesse Feltner, corrected the major chink in the armor from last season.   That flaw was offense from its defensive group, but this game saw every defenseman getting at least two points and Andy Wozniewski getting 8 by himself, not to be outdone was Matt Taormina with 6.  But the story of the game was Colorado’s Jiri Tlusty who banged in 7 points to lead the Cutthroats to two victories in two games as a franchise.  Defender Derek Joslin grabbed up 6 points, giving him 8 through two games.
