Time to Panic? Champs Fall Again, Tri-Cities Gets First Win Over Louisville, 19-16

Goaltender Leland Irving took his fledgling franchise on his shoulders in a big way, leading the Tri-Cities Mountaineers to their first-ever victory by defeating the three-time Neilson Cup champion Louisville Kings.  Louisville netminder, John Curry, didn’t exactly have the worst game of his career, either, but the poor offensive support weren’t enough for him.  Mountaineers defenseman Paul Postma scored 6 points and three other Tri-Cities players had at least 2 points.  Louisville saw Clay Wilson and Joel Perrault get 4 points each in the loss.
