Fireworks Go Off in Long Beach, Halifax Outlasts Longshoremen, 23-22

Brent Krahn had his second straight career defining game in a row, only to fall to defeat.  Krahn had 44 saves in the loss to Saskatoon.  Tyler Eckford, too, had his second straight super performance, nabbing 6 points from the Long Beach blueline.  All for naught.  The Lumberjaxx’ Mattias Karlsson lead his team to victory with 6 points, Ryan Keller threw in 4 points and five seperate Jaxx players had at least a pair of points.  Despite winning their second straight contest, the Lumberjaxx still sit in the Calder Conference cellar.
