It’s over! Virginia Beach snaps losing streak, defeat MLH best Saskatoon, 20-19

You would have thought they won the Neilson Cup.  Virginia Beach, sporting a 5 game losing streak and dredging the floor of the MLH standings, went into Saskatoon, home of the League’s best overall club, the Czars, and came out victorious.  The story was played out, almost completely, between the pipes.  Alexander Salak, the goalie the Bullsharks acquired two weeks ago, continued to shine in net.  However, his opposite number, Saskatoon goalie, Chad Johnson, a free agent pickup making his MLH debut also played outstanding.  Kris Chucko and Mathieu Carle had matching 4 point outputs for the Bullsharks to lead the team.  Jeff Taffe had 5 points for the Czars in the losing effort.  Despite the outcome, both teams maintained their spots in the standing.
